Deployment Options

TIM can be deployed in various ways: in cloud, on-premise or on edge.

Cloud

TIM is a native citizen of the cloud and this is the easiest and most popular way to use TIM. For users who have their own cloud subscription, either on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS), it is also possible to run TIM there.

• Microsoft Azure: TIM is available on the Azure Marketplace as a transactable listing.
• AWS: TIM is available on the AWS Marketplace as a transactable listing.

On-premise

In specific situations you may want to use TIM disconnected from other networks, on your own infrastructure. In such situation TIM engine can be deployed on your own infrastructure, and requires Linux to run.

Edge

TIM Engine can be deployed also on various edge devices from small single-board computers like Raspberry Pi to industrial IoT device as Dell Edge Gateway or HPE, designed to provide powerful IoT solutions.
