The Tangent Information Modeler (TIM) in Excel
TIM Forecasting in Excel is an add-in in Excel introducing an intuitive interface to the TIM Engine into Excel. The possibity to communicate with the TIM Engine from within Excel allows users to enjoy the capabilities and familiarity of Excel, combined with the unique time series insights realized with TIM.
The current version of the TIM in Excel application supports TIM's unique technology called RTInstantML, allowing users to get direct forecasts based on the data in their Excel file.
Supported Operating Systems and versions
Excel desktop
Windows OS
For the use of the Excel desktop version, Office 2016 or later is expected. If you do not dispose of a sufficiently recent version, please update or use the add-in with Excel online.
MacOS
The Excel desktop version is supported on MacOS in recent versions of Excel. In older Excel versions, namely 2007 and 2010, the add-in can still be used but will perform less optimally. The timestamps sent for forecasting will be four years of. If you're using one of these older Excel versions, you can either accept this difference, update your Excel, or use the add-in with Excel online.
Excel online
The Excel online version of the add-in is supported in every browser.
